It seems that I will make the recovery somewhat quickly. I’m a little over 24 hours into the process and I’m feeling a million times better than I did yesterday. Thank goodness! I hope to avoid all further infection and intense pain. Marisa has been absolutely amazing since this whole fiasco began last Friday -buying me ice cream and dvds, listening to me complain about how much my face hurts (while telling me that the swelling isn’t all that grotesque) and buying me more medicine at the pharmacy on the corner when the dentist’s prescription doesn’t cut the mustard. Thanks Marisa! You’re the best!
Tomorrow is the school field trip to the zoo, and I’m really looking forward to it, although I can’t imagine the yelling involved with keeping my Lion class in order will be helpful in keeping the pain down. Even so, I’m excited. The weather should be nice enough, and I really did miss my kids today…it was quite strange sitting at home on a school day. Nice! But strange. Expect a post post-haste about the zoo-I’m sure it will include many pictures of both adorable children and fascinating animals. Basically, things I love that are also cute and cuddly.
